The snow is melting and our days are increasingly becoming longer, indicating that spring is right around the corner. So, for this Tuesday’s post, I’ve put together a feminine lookbook perfect for the upcoming warm weather. I hope that you’ll enjoy the outfits that I’ve styled and that they’ll bring you happy thoughts of springtime.
For this first look, I’m wearing a matte black dress from Zara’s Trafaluc Collection. I absolutely adore the peplum sleeves and the embroidered floral pattern. The dress itself may be black, but the bold colors of the embroidery really make it a staple item for spring. I think this look is very romantic and even a bit whimsical, perfect for a date night or dinner party with some friends. To finish off the look, I’m wearing my brown high-heeled boots from a local boutique and the chokers are both from Forever 21.
In this next look, I’ve borrowed a little inspiration from western movies. Layered over my white lace t-shirt from H&M is my denim overall dress from Urban Outfitters. The dress is made by Kimchi Blue, one of my favorite brands that Urban Outfitters carries. I really like how the two pieces look layered together. Once again, I’m wearing the same shoes and chokers from the previous outfit, but I’ve decided to top off this look with a tan brimmed hat from Forever 21.
For the final look, I wanted to channel a more professional and polished look. This season, wide-legged trousers are very trendy, so I decided to pick up a pair to see what all the hype is about. The ones that I’m wearing here are from Zara, and to be honest with you, I’m absolutely in love with how comfortable they are! I’m very surprised as to how much I like them because I’ve never really worn trousers, let alone wide-legged ones like these. Since the pants are high-waisted, I decided to pair them with a simple white crop top from Forever 21 (by now you’ve probably realized where I like to shop!), my black and white color blocked heels that I purchased at a local thrift store, and my new Felicity Mini Drawstring Bucket Bag from Cole Han.
That’s it for my first lookbook, everyone! As always, thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blog and I’ll be back next week with more new content. Also, I would like to thank my friends for helping me with today’s post, Tyler Vongphachanh, who took all of the pictures, Charlie Cao for directing some of the shots, and Amanda Nguyen, Amy Wang, and China Lee for coming along for the ride! You guys are the greatest.
